Major General Bin Brik reviews efforts of Watan Foundation for Development and Training

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, accompanied by Mr. Fadi Baoum, member of the Presidency of the Council, on Sunday, paid an inspection visit to Watan Foundation for Development and Training in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate.
In the visit, Major General Bin Brik and Fadi Baoum were received by Ms. Ohood Bahameish, head of the Foundation, in which they learned from her about the nature of the Foundation’s work, and they also toured the various departments in the Foundation and listened from Mohammed Al-Baasi, Director of Relations and Media, and Majid Bin Jaah, Director of Programs and Projects at the Foundation, to an explaination about the services and projects provided by Watan Foundation in the fields of training, rehabilitation, practical and mental development in society.
Major General Bin Brik expressed his appreciation for the message provided by the Watan Foundation for Development and Training, praising the services and projects it implements, by activating the role of youth in community development and raising their awareness on the political and human rights side, in addition to its contribution to the process of empowering women and adopting professional and cultural projects and initiatives that work to enhance community members and develop their capabilities.
For her part, the President of the Watan Foundation expressed her appreciation for the visit of Major General Bin Brik and Mr. Fadi Baoum to the Foundation’s headquarters, and to see its projects and work programmes closely, praising the role of the Southern Transitional Council and its leadership in facilitating the work of community institutions, stressing the readiness of the Watan Foundation to implement everything necessary within the framework of its projects to develop society and strengthen individuals capabilities.
Major General Bin Brik was accompanied on his visit by Colonel Merhi Saeed Bakhala, Assistant Director of Security for Services Affairs.
