Bayern accepts gift of Dortmund and keeps its title as champion of Bundesliga

Bayern Munich crowned the Bundesliga title with a dramatic scenario, after defeating its host Cologne (2-1), on Saturday, in the match that was held at the Rhein Energy Stadium, in the closing round of the competition.
Bayern took advantage of the fall of its rival, Borussia Dortmund, in its own home, in a draw with Mainz (2-2), to make the Bavarian club win the title by goal difference (15 goals), after the two teams were equal in the lead with 71 points.

Bayern saved its season from leaving empty-handed after leaving the Champions League and the German Cup, to compensate its fans by preserving the Bundesliga title for the 11th consecutive season.

Bayern opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Kingsley Coman, and Colin equalized the score through Dejan Ljubicic (80), before Jamal Musiala scored a goal in the minute (89) with a ground shot from the edge of the area that hit the net, to end the match with Bayern’s victory (2-1) and crowned the Bundesliga title.
