General Secretariat of STC’s Presidency Reviews Current Economic Scene and Performance Report of Education and Religious Guidance Department

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday morning in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and deputy secretary general, and in the presence of Mr. Abdo Ali Al-Naqeeb, Assistant Secretary-General.
The meeting discussed a report on the current economic landscape that was submitted by the Economic and Service Department and included the latest developments in the economic situation in the governorates of the South during the month of May.
The meeting reviewed the performance report of the Department of Education and Religious Guidance for the first quarter of this year, 2023, and the most prominent activities that were implemented during the first quarter, as well as their functionally-oriented coordination with the sub-departments (administrations) in the governorates of the South.
During its meeting, the Secretariat stood before a range of topics and issues in the governorates of the South in various aspects and presented suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow.
The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report of departments of the General Secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
