Governor of Aden the capital calls for works offices to rely on electronic system

The Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, on Thursday, in a meeting of directors of districts in the capital, directed the public works and roads offices to take into account the development of business in an electronic manner to address financial waste, reduce administrative shortcomings, and develop revenues.
Lamlas pointed out that automation helps the local authority to detect shortcomings and address imbalances resulting from traditional manual work in various institutions, calling for strengthening the cooperation of all parties to correct the path and mechanisms of work.
The meeting reviewed the work progress in works and roads offices in all districts, according to the program of the Revenue Development Center within six months, strengths and weaknesses, and ways to achieve integration and work development.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to facilitate and speed up transactions, control the licensing process, practice professions, commercial fees, and commercial meters within the tasks of the works offices.
