Governor of Aden the capital: No damages in the city due to the earthquake

The governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, denied that the city was affected by any damage as a result of the earthquake that struck the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Shabwa.

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Gulf of Aden, below sea level, off the coast of Shabwa governorate.

Experts ruled out the occurrence of a marine tsunami hitting the coast of the south, despite the monitoring of 10 moderate and strong marine seismic tremors in the depth of the Gulf of Aden.
