The Minister of Transport directs to provide requirements for building runway of Aden International Airport

The Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdulsalam Humaid, on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, met with the technical committee charged with evaluating and implementing the reconstruction and building of the landing and take-off runway at Aden International Airport and the means of air navigation, at the headquarters of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
The Minister of Transport appreciated the support of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the various transport sectors, and the modernization and development of Aden International Airport, stressing that the completion of the two projects qualifies Aden International Airport as a full-service airport compatible with international standards, and more attractive to regional and international airlines.
After discussions with technical experts in the authority, Humaid directed to quickly provide the requirements of the authority and the airport from the local market or abroad to allow the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction to start implementing the two projects.
