Secretariat of STC’s Presidency Discusses Political Landscape Report and Organizational Work Plan for 3rd Quarter of 2023

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC’s Presidium and deputy secretary general.
In the meeting, they discussed the political landscape report that was submitted by the Political Department and dealt with the most prominent topics and issues on the southern scene during the past two weeks.
The meeting reviewed the draft organizational work plan of the Secretariat during the third quarter (July–August–September) of the current year 2023 and the work mechanism accompanying the implementation of the draft plan, and it was approved after assimilation of the remarks.
Furthermore, the Secretariat stood before the sit-in of the employees of the textbook printing press, rejecting the government decree No. (5) of 2023, in which it decided to print the school textbooks outside the walls of the textbook printing press in Aden and Hadramout, calling on the government to refrain from its decision and work on printing the school textbooks in the official printing press.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Secretariat honored the member of the Organizational Department, Mr. Munif Al-Moss, as Mr. Fadhl Al-Gaadi, the deputy secretary general, handed the shield for best employee of the year in 2022 to Mr. Al-Moss.
The meeting touched on a range of topics and issues related to the governorates of the South and presented suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow.
The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report of departments of the general secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
