Major General Ben Brik Gets Briefed on Role of Anti-Smuggling Department in Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Monday, with Major Qaid Mubarak Saleh Al Buraiki, Director of the Anti-Smuggling Department in the Valley and the Desert of Hadhramaut.
In the meeting, Major Buraiki reviewed the tasks and difficulties being faced in the field of combating smuggling, especially at ports like Shehn, Al-Wadiah, and Seiyun airport, as well as in the desert area, which includes Ramah, Kheshm Al-Jabal, and Al-Abr Desert.
The meeting focused on how to eradicate this phenomenon by presenting an integrated plan for the tasks of the department during the upcoming period.
Furthermore, Major General Bin Brik was briefed on the number of achievements fulfilled by the Anti-Smuggling Department during the past period.
In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik praised the efforts of the department in combating smuggling, underscoring the importance of raising vigilance and security awareness in combating and chasing smugglers to gradually combat this phenomenon and working to preserve our resources and capabilities.
