Al-Mahrami stresses importance of the solar energy system project and directs to inspect its work progress

The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abd al-Rahman Abu Zaraa Al-Mahrami, on Wednesday, stressed the importance of the solar power plant project, which is considered one of the strategic projects for renewable and clean energy, noting that it is one of the solutions that will alleviate the suffering of electricity service, and alternative treatments for disposal from its crisis.

Deputy Al-Mahrami appreciated the support of the United Arab Emirates, which is multifaceted in various fields, including the solar power plant project with a capacity of “120” megawatts, whose work is proceeding in full swing. He once again thanked the brothers in the UAE and its wise leadership for their continuous support for the capital, Aden, in various aspects. .

In the context of keenness and interest in completing the project on time, Al-Mahrami directed the project monitoring and follow-up team to go to the field to inspect the progress of the solar energy system project in Bir Ahmed area, which in turn was briefed on developments and the nature of the work in it, as the team reported that the equipment and rehabilitation of the site had been completed, and work is underway to set the concrete of solar panels.
