President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Challenges Facing Department of CSCRA

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Tuesday, with Major General Sanad Jamil Saeed, Head of the Department of Civil Status and Civil Registration Authority (CSCRA).
During the meeting, which was attended by Mohammad Ali Obaid, Director General of Financial Affairs, and Eng. Alawi Ali Mohammad, Director of Information Systems at the CSCRA, the President listened to a satisfied explanation of the workflow of the Authority, the range of difficulties that hinder accomplishing its tasks as planned, and the possible mechanisms to ease such challenges.
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the head of the CSCRA on plans and programs to boost the work of the authority, the total move to the electronic management system, and the completion of the networking between all branches to control the process of issuing identity cards and civil status documents.
At the end of the meeting, the president expressed his appreciation for all the efforts made by the CSCRA to run its work despite the scarcity of resources, affirming his readiness to provide all aspects of support to enable it to properly and efficiently perform its tasks.
