Head of NSMA Meets with Sheikh Al-Jabri

Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met on Thursday in his office at the NSMA’s headquarters with Sheikh Hassan bin Saeed Al-Jabri, head of the committee responsible for implementing the outcomes of the Hadramaut General Meeting (Haru), the leader of the Second Hadrami Uprising.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Awlaqi welcomed Sheikh Al-Jabri, affirming the importance of the national role of the Hadrami Uprising in light of the conditions experienced by Hadramout and the South in general and indicating that NSMA is following up on the activity of the Hadhrami Uprising on the political, social, and legal levels, appreciating its active role in society and in the urban and rural areas of Hadramout and its communication with the political, tribal, and civil notables and leaders.
Al-Awlaqi highlighted the importance of concerted political, social, and civil efforts to achieve the aspirations of the people of Hadramout so that the people of the governorate can manage their civil, security, and military affairs and transfer the successful experience from the Coast of Al-Mukalla to Hadramout Valley.
For his part, Sheikh Hassan Al-Jabri praised the role of NSMA in organizing and developing southern media broadcasting and publishing in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of the South, calling for strengthening the role in creating media discourse, raising awareness, and enhancing communication that keeps pace with the national and popular movement in Hadramout.
