STC’s Legal and Human Rights Commission Discusses Inspection Visits and Meetings with LLEBs

The legal and human rights commission (LHRC), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its periodic meeting today, Thursday, chaired by Dr. Sa’ad Mohammad Sa’ad, head of the LHRC.
The meeting reviewed many legal issues related to the lives and livelihoods of the citizens of the South. The head of the LHRC stressed the importance of addressing whatever impacts on the citizens’ livelihoods and urged finding appropriate legal solutions.
The head of the LHRC touched on the need to crystalize visions for the various legal activities within the tasks and jurisdictions specified for the commission in the STC’s by-laws.
The meeting also discussed the reports of the descent and the series of meetings of the members of the commission with a number of local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) in the legal field, as well as a report on the participation of the members of the commission in the panel discussion titled “The National Charter: a Map for Building the Constitution of the South,” which included many important remarks and views, on which the LHRC took appropriate recommendations.
