Mansour Saleh: Peace depends on respecting the aspirations of the people of the South

Mansour Saleh, Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Southern Transitional Council, said that the Council’s statement on its position on the peace process confirms that its support is firm for stopping the war and reaching a comprehensive settlement.

He said in media statements on Friday that the Southern Transitional Council’s support for peace depends on the right of the people of the South and the representation of their cause in the negotiations within a special framework.

Saleh warned that peace depends on respecting the aspirations of the southern people and fair representation of their cause in any negotiations in accordance with the outcomes of the Riyadh consultations and agreement.
