President Al-Zubaidi discusses with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross ways to expand interventions of its mission in our country

President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, on Thursday, with Ms. Mirjana Spoljark, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The meeting reviewed the humanitarian, relief and health activities and programs implemented by the International Committee of the Red Cross mission in our country, and possible ways to enhance the mission’s activity and expand its interventions.
President Al-Zubaidi appreciated the humanitarian services provided by the International Red Cross Mission to citizens in conflict-affected areas in our country, and the remarkable successes it achieved in the prisoner exchange file and revealing the fate of detainees, stressing in this context the firm commitment of the Southern Transitional Council and the Presidential Leadership Council to international humanitarian law and relevant international laws.
