Chaired by Niran Souqi… Relief and Humanitarian Action Authority of STC holds its second meeting for September

The Relief and Humanitarian Aid Authority of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, held its periodic meeting for the month of September, headed by Attorney Niran Souqi, Head of the Authority.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Authority stood before the minutes of its previous meeting and approved it, after that it discussed the activity reports of the Authority’s representatives in the departments and committees, and the important observations and recommendations they contained.

The meeting reviewed a number of coordination meetings conducted by the Authority, most notably the meeting of Attorney Souqi with the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Al-Zaouri, who discussed the expected role that must be played by organizations concerned with relief work, and work to implement relief projects.

The Authority also reviewed the meetings held by the Head of the Authority with the Director General of the General Water Corporation in the capital, Aden, to address the reasons for the deficiencies in pumping water to some of the capital’s districts, and discussed ways to develop solutions to limit the aggravation of its humanitarian repercussions on citizens, in addition to the meeting with the Director General of Malla’a District, who discussed a number of related topics and relief and humanitarian work.
