Al-Jaadi and STC Presidency team holds extensive meeting with community and tribal figures and heads of unions and civil society organizations in Socotra

The Southern Transitional Council’s Presidency team, headed by Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the STC, held an extensive meeting on Wednesday, in Socotra governorate, with community and tribal figures and heads of unions and civil society organizations in the governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Nazim Mubarak bin Qablan, Deputy Head of Executive Body of the STC in Socotra, Mr. Raed Al-Jaribi, Acting Governor of the Governorate, and Brigadier General Saleh Ali, Deputy Governor of the Governorate, Fadl Al-Jaadi delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of the President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, to all attendees, expressing his welcome to them, and his happiness to be among them.

During his speech, Al-Jaadi touched on the great care and interest that President Al-Zubaidi attaches to Socotra Governorate and its people, and his continuous standing by their side at various times and stages, stressing the unity of the southern ranks, and breaking everything that targets the unity, security and stability of the people of the South, praising the people of the pioneering governorate of the Socotra Archipelago on the path to restoring the southern state.

Al-Jaadi appreciated the role of the governorate’s figures, sheikhs, and notables in strengthening southern cohesion and establishing the foundations of security and stability in it, reviewing in this context the importance of the combined efforts of all civil society organizations and unions and their contribution to this, mentioning the requirements of the next stage and urging the necessity of cohesion of all the people of the South in it.

During the meeting, the team listened to what was proposed by various attendees, and the team reviewed the points that were presented, providing explanatory responses and answers to all the opinions and questions that were raised in the meeting, in which the team emphasized addressing the obstacles and overcoming the difficulties facing the governorate and its people.
