Major General Bin Brik congratulates President Al-Zubaidi and the southern people on 60th anniversary of October 14 Revolution

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, sent a cable of congratulations to President Aidaroos Qasim Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution.
Major General Bin Brik, on his behalf and the leadership and members of the Southern Transitional Council, expressed his sincere congratulations to the President Al-Zubaidi and through him to all the sons of our proud southern people at home and abroad, and to members of the southern armed forces, on this great occasion, in which the heroic southern fighters sparked the revolution of 14th October 1963 from the peaks of Radfan’s Mountains against the mightiest colonial empire, forcing it to leave, after four years of liberation struggle, and long caravans of glorious martyrs, who sacrificed the soil of the homeland with their pure blood.
The Vice President of the Transitional Council pointed out that the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution returns this year, and our people are still waging an ongoing liberation revolution, in the face of a new occupation that imposed its presence on our land and our people by force of arms since July 7, 1994. However, the Southern Leadership has achieved major political breakthroughs on both levels, local and international, and is moving forward steadily to achieve the aspirations of our people to establish their independent federal state.
He added that this occasion is renewed in light of the war and conspiracies against our people and our homeland, a war that takes multiple forms and shapes, especially the war against terrorism, with its two parts of extremist organizations, and the Houthi priestly militias, as well as the war of services through which the iron will of our people is being targeted, stressing that our people, just as they were victorious in their previous wars and overcame the conspiracies and intrigues that targeted them in their past stages, will be victorious in their current battle, especially with the level of political awareness they have demonstrated of the necessity of owning their decisions, preserving their sovereignty and preserving their dignity. This was clearly demonstrated through the historical document that the national forces signed (the Southern National Charter).
Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik saluted the soldiers stances and steely steadfastness of the southern armed forces, led by President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, and the skill and wisdom he demonstrated in managing the political and military battle and winning it despite the complexities of the stage and the struggles of forces hostile to our people, their political leadership and their valiant armed forces.
Major General Ahmed bin Brik renewed his pledge to President Al-Zubaidi, and to our loyal southern people, to continue on the path of freedom, pride and dignity, the path of the martyrs, until the full goals of our revolution are achieved, leading to the second national independence, and the building of the southern federal state, with Aden as its capital.
Major General Bin Brik concluded his cable by praying to Allah to accept the martyrs of the South in the various stages of its southern liberation struggle, with mercy and forgiveness, and to crown the struggle of our people with clear victory.
