President Al-Zoubaidi Receives UAE Ambassador

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), received at his office on Wednesday, His Excellency Mohammed Hamad Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the brotherly United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Yemen.
During the meeting, the deeply-rooted fraternal relations between our country and the brotherly United Arab Emirates were reviewed, in addition to ways to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
President Al-Zoubaidi lauded the true brotherly positions of the UAE with our country and its unwavering support for our people under all circumstances, expressing his deep appreciation for the unlimited fraternal support that the UAE allocates to our people in the humanitarian and development fields, foremost of which is the package of development projects provided by the UAE government in the fields of security, energy, water and sanitation, education, and health.
To the end of the meeting, the President received from Ambassador Al Zaabi a souvenir Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque statue, may Allah bestow His mercy on him.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, the Head of Joint Operations, Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, and the Director of Aden Security, Major General Mutahar Ali Naji.
