Deputy Chairman of the Southern National Dialogue Team meets with a number of Turkish officials

Mr. Abdul Salam Qasim Massad, Deputy Chairman of the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, on Thursday, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, met with a number of Turkish officials in the central bodies and institutions affiliated with the Presidency of the Turkish Republic.
In a series of separate meetings, Abdul Salam met with Professor Birol Akgün, Chairman of the Governmental Knowledge Endowment Foundation, Dr. Abdullah Asfar, Coordinator of the International TIKA Agency, and Professor Abdul Rahman Şetin, Vice President of the Turkish Religious Endowment for Islamic Affairs, Dr. Aziz Kokson, Coordinator of Cultural and External Relations at the Government, and Professor Mehmet Al-Fatih, President of the Al-Khatib Educational Foundation.
During the meetings, Abdul Salam reviewed the social and humanitarian situation in the south and the difficulties experienced by society in light of the deterioration of health, social, educational and living services, as well as the results of the southern national dialogue and the outcomes of the consultative meeting.
In turn, the heads of Turkish institutions, organizations and bodies welcomed Professor Abdul Salam’s visit to Turkey, and expressed their desire to continue communication and meetings, exchange visits and coordinate joint work.
