The Chairman of the National Assembly of STC receives a delegation from Aden Arbitration Center

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Sunday, received a delegation from the Aden International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Settlement in the capital, Aden.
The center’s delegation, which specializes in spreading the concept of arbitration culture in various fields, was headed by the center’s president, Counselor Dr. Faisal Hassan bin Mahri Al Kathiri.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the Aden Arbitration Centre, its role in commercial arbitration, its importance to commercial circles, and the necessity of including an arbitration clause in contracts for the purpose of facilitating dispute resolution.
Al-Kathiri appreciated the center’s role and importance at the level of the capital, Aden, and the south, considering that it contributes to developing the judiciary by quickly resolving disputes and alleviating the burden on national courts.
He stressed the importance of the center in creating a safe climate to attract investors to develop the southern national economy, and to save effort and time in resolving commercial issues.
Counselor Dr. Faisal presented the shield of the International Court of Arbitration and Dispute Settlement (England), and the modern Aden International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Settlement, to the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council.
