Al-Saqqaf opens a panel discussion on “Collecting Financial Resources” in the capital, Aden

Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, member of the Presidency of Southern Transitional Council (STC), head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, opened the discussion session on “Collecting Financial Resources in the Capital, Aden.”

Al-Saqqaf began the session, which was held under the supervision of the Economic Administration in the STC Executive leadership in the capital, Aden, with a speech in which he welcomed the participants, praising the importance of holding such discussion circles and purposeful economic dialogue sessions, especially in light of the country’s current conditions, considering the process of collecting financial resources to be one of the most important economic challenges that has had an impact. He was clear about the stability of the country in all areas of life, hoping that the session would come up with real recommendations and solutions that would help solve the issues and problems related to financial resources with all transparency and clarity.

Mr. Ali Al-Jawhari, Acting Director of the Economic Department of the STC’s Executive leadership in Aden, presented a pivotal paper to the seminar on “Types of Financial Resources and Their Importance for Economic Development” with the participation of an elite group of economists, researchers, academics, those interested in economic affairs, and media professionals, through which he shed light on the reality of collecting financial resources, obstacles, and violations. And the violations associated with collection work and ways to activate the regulatory bodies to prevent, avoid and reduce these violations and imbalances in financial revenues.

The paper was enriched with important contributions and comments from the participants, as the workshop came up with a number of proposals and recommendations that would address financial imbalances, enhance supervisory awareness of revenue bases, and improve the mechanism for collecting financial resources in a more transparent and legal manner.
