Al-Bahsani calls on drug control to adopt a unified strategy with security

Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, during his meeting with the Director General of the Drug Control Department, Brigadier General Abdullah Hamdi, was briefed on the progress of the department’s work and its efforts in combating drugs and pursuing drug dealers.
Al-Bahsani called for harnessing efforts to limit the spread of drugs, and for the Ministry of Interior to intensify its interest in providing full support to the General Department of Narcotics Control to achieve the desired goals by limiting the spread of narcotic substances.
He called for the adoption of clear action plans to combat drugs in coordination with the various agencies concerned, and cooperation within the framework of a unified strategy, to continue achievements at the security and military levels, and to establish partnerships with international organizations to exchange experiences in the field of drug control.
