Final phase of UAE solar electricity project in Aden the capital is in progress

Commissioned by the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdul Rahman Abu Zaraa Al-Muharrami, the project monitoring and follow-up team, on Monday morning, made a field trip to the site of the solar energy station, in the Bir Ahmed area in the capital, Aden, to review the progress of the final phase of installing solar panels for the project.
During the visit, in which he was accompanied by a team from the General Electricity Corporation of Aden, the project follow-up team in the office of Representative Al-Muharrami heard an explanation from the representative of the Austrian consulting company that is implementing the project, Mr. David, and the project site managers, Engineer Munir Al-Arouni, and Engineer Sami Al-Ghouri, the executive director of the project, to an explanation. Detailed details about the stages of completion, and the difficulties that accompany the progress of the project.
The project site director, Engineer Mounir Al-Arouni, confirmed the completion of the basic installation stages of the metal structure of the solar cells and the electricity cables, and the start of the station’s inspections stage, indicating that all installation work will be completed at the end of this January.
Regarding the quality of work, Al-Arouni reiterated that all work is carried out at a high level of quality control, in coordination with the consultant supervising the project, in addition to taking into account occupational safety standards.
