Sunak: Our targeting of the Houthis reduces the militia’s ability to launch attacks

SMA NEWS – LONDON
British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, expected that the strikes carried out by his country and America on the Houthis would reduce the militia’s ability to launch attacks in the Red Sea.

NATO called on the Iran-backed Houthi militia to stop its attacks on ships, stressing that it has a special responsibility to control its agents.

The US State Department announced that the military operation aims to prevent the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from expanding the conflict in the region, explaining that there is no link between the situation in Gaza and the actions of the Houthis.

She indicated on Friday that the aim of the strikes was not to kill members of the terrorist Houthi militia, but rather to secure navigation, revealing that the militia leaders ignored all opportunities and did not listen to American warnings.

America and Britain launched a joint strike on targets of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which they used to threaten freedom of navigation in Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea.
