The Governor of Socotra reviews level of tax revenue collection in 2023

Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqli, Governor of Socotra Archipelago, on Sunday, met the representatives of service offices and revenue funds, to determine the level of tax revenue collection last year.

Al-Thaqli pointed to the need to raise the level of resource collection in the new year, warning against negligence in the collection process, in light of legal procedures against parties that are not committed to the revenue plan.

The Governor of Socotra expressed his interest in addressing the problems of revenue offices, and improving the level of collected resources, to achieve positive indicators that contribute to preparing an investment program for the governorate and conducting development interventions.
