The Women’s Authority of STC discusses preparations for fourth stage of honoring southern women activists

The Women’s Auxiliary Authority of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Sunday, held its second periodic meeting for the month of February, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, Head of the Authority.
The Authority discussed arrangements for celebrating International Women’s Day, and the meeting settled on preparing for the fourth stage of honoring southern women activists, given the difficult living conditions that the country is experiencing.
The meeting recalled the national exploits and roles of southern women in work to confront various types of occupation of the south.
The Authority meeting affirmed support for the rights of southern women in all fields and areas and in all their places of presence, including their right to political participation in peace negotiations and to hold political positions in the state.
