Houthi ballistic missiles launched towards the Gulf of Aden

US Central Command published an update on Red Sea activities for March 8
At approximately 9:50 a.m. (Sanaa time), the US Central Command carried out a strike as a self-defense measure against anti-ship missiles mounted on two trucks belonging to Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in areas under their control in Yemen.
At approximately 3:55 p.m. (Sanaa time), Houthi terrorists launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles from Yemen towards the Gulf of Aden towards the M/V Propyl Fortune ship, a ship owned and operated by Singapore and flying the Singaporean flag. The missiles did not affect the ship, nor injuries or damage were reported.
These actions are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters protected and safer for the U.S. Navy and commercial vessels.
