Floods sweep through the city of Mukalla and its streets

The city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate, on Wednesday, witnessed heavy and torrential rains sweeping across the city.
The Emergency Committee in Hadhramaut began urgent interventions in anticipation of the depression, in implementation of the directives of Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi.
The mini-emergency committee continued operations to open flood lanes, remove sesban trees, equipment, scrap cars, and dust from flood crossing sites, and also clear the ferries of dust.
It was keen to remove cars from the streets threatened by floods, and to suspend the sailing of fishermen and ferries starting on event time in order to preserve lives and public and private property.
