Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, witnessed on Tuesday, a solemn military parade of symbolic units from the Hadhrami Elite Forces and the Hadramaut Coast Security Forces, at the Police College in Hadramaut, as part of the celebrations of the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the coastal cities from the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization.
The event was attended by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daari, along with the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadramaut Governorate, Saleh Abboud Al-Omqi, and the Commander of the Second Military Region, Major General Talib Saeed Bargash, the representatives of Hadhramaut Governorate, judges, academics, and military and security leaders in Hadhramaut Governorate.
The military and security units, led by the parade commander, Colonel Ghaleb Al-Marfadi, and his groups, demonstrated their capabilities and high combat readiness to carry out national tasks, defending the homeland’s soil and protecting the gains, in addition to a sports parade to highlight physical fitness, and the formation of an artistic painting titled April 24.
Al-Bahsani congratulated the people of Hadramaut on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the liberation, noting that the 24th of April will remain a milestone after it was recorded in the pages of history through a heroic epic, following a decision by the Arab coalition to take decisive military action through the Hadrami elite forces, adding, “Zayed’s sons were on time to take control.” and writing the heroic epic.”
He said, “It is a great honor and a source of pride and dignity when I saw pride and pride marked on the foreheads of our sons, the soldiers of the Hadrami elite, and their slogan was that we die and Hadramaut remains, and the meteors of death launched and sent by the hawks of the Emirates with the lava of their fire were destroying the hideouts and basements of terrorism.”
He added, “At a time when the land, with its plains and mountains, is folded under the feet of the heroes of Hadramaut and its brave soldiers in a combat advance whose slogan is victory and the cleansing of the land, until the goal is achieved, thanks to Allah and thanks to those who planned, ordered, and fought in the air and on the ground.”
He explained, “The hours of our day in which I stand before you now are equal to those hours, days, and months that we spent in training, preparation, and departure. These are hours of honor and dignity. We renew our pledge to you and to our nation, land and people.”
Al-Bahsani stressed that the combat and peaceful arenas of honor and dignity are among the greatest places of honor and pride, urging the heroes of the Hadrami Elite Forces to be fully alert and with high determination, pointing out that the great success achieved by the heroes of the Hadrami Elite and security forces, during the implementation of the joint exercise, indicates the exertion of great efforts. .
The Vice President of the Transitional Council revealed the intention of the local authority in Hadramaut and the Second Military Region to honor the families of the martyrs and the leaders who actively participated in the process of liberating and establishing security and stability in the governorate, in addition to honoring leaders from the Arab coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.
He stressed that the liberation of the Hadramaut coast from the elements of the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization was a victory achieved by the heroic men who answered the call of the nation, and of the heroes of the Hadrami elite, the resistance men, and the military and security leaders.
