European Union Ambassador: Prospects for peace in Yemen appear bleaker

The European Union Ambassador to Yemen, Gabriel Viñales, said that the current situation in Yemen is bad and unprecedented and that the prospects for peace appear bleaker than before.

In a speech on the occasion of Europe Day, he pointed out that the reckless actions of the Iran-backed Houthi militia in attacking shipping caused damage to maritime safety.
