President Al-Zubaidi Affirms Support for Efforts to Normalize Conditions in Mudiyah District

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), affirmed his support for the efforts of the local authorities in Mudiyah district and Abyan Governorate to normalize conditions in the district.

This came during his meeting today, Monday, with the General Manager of Mudiyah, Mr. Samir Al-Haid, in the presence of Mr. Hassan Ghaithan, Head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the STC in Abyan, and Commander of the Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade Brigadier General Nabil Al-Mashoushi, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation from Al-Haid about the general situation in Mudiyah, the efforts made by the leadership of the local authority to provide basic services to citizens, and the various difficulties and challenges they face in this regard.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed the military and security situation and the results achieved by military Operation “Arrows of the East” in enhancing the public tranquility of citizens and maintaining the security and stability of the district. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi praised the support provided by the people of Mudiyah from all segments to the operation, pointing out that this reflects their keenness to consolidate security and stability and confirms that Mudiyah, Abyan Governorate, and the South in general are an environment that actively discourages terrorism and deviant elements that are out of line.

The President emphasized, at the end of the meeting, the importance of strengthening the cohesiveness among the people of Mudiyah and rejecting any attempts to divide the ranks, calling on the leadership of the local authority in this regard to coordinate its efforts with the LLEB in the governorate and district, as well as with social figures and dignitaries, in a way that maintains the security and stability of the district, preserves the public tranquility of citizens, and secures the gains achieved by the enormous ultimate sacrifices of the blessed martyrs.
