The Preparatory Committee for second session of the National Assembly in Shabwa holds extraordinary meeting

The preparatory committee formed by the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa Governorate, on Tuesday, held an extraordinary meeting, headed by Lahmar Ali Lasoud, Head of the Executive Body of the STC Shabwa.
The meeting welcomed the directives of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, headed by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the STC, to continue arrangements for the second session of the National Assembly to be held at a later time, after completing all necessary organizational and logistical arrangements.
The meeting confirmed that these directives come within the framework of ensuring the public interest and ensuring the success of the session in a way that serves the aspirations of the people of the South, indicating that the committee will remain in permanent session and follow up on all developments assigned to its tasks.
The meeting considered the directives of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council an important step towards strengthening organizational and political work, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and serving the interests of the people of the South, to ensure the achievement of the goals of holding the session.
The meeting appreciated the effective role and efforts made by the local authority in the governorate and the security services in securing the holding of the session, in addition to the public interaction and great welcome expressed by the people of the governorate.
