Baoum and Al-Mohammadi discuss with the Central Bank in Mukalla solutions to stabilize local currency exchange rates

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadi Hassan Baoum, and the Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadhramaut Governorate, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, met on Sunday, with the Director General of the Central Bank, Mukalla Branch, Mr. Zaki Omar bin Awaid, at the bank’s headquarters in the city of Mukalla.
Baoum and Al-Mohammadi discussed, with the Director General of the Central Bank, Mukalla Branch, the mechanism for finding urgent solutions to stabilize local currency exchange rates, exports that would preserve foreign currencies, and monitor the exit of currencies outside the country, which affects exchange rates and inflation of local currency prices.
The meeting urged the need for everyone to come together to study the current situation and find solutions to improve living conditions and come up with satisfactory results that serve the people who live in extremely difficult economic, service and living conditions.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Hadramaut, Mr. Ali Ahmed Al-Jifri, and the Deputy Director of the Central Bank, Mukalla Branch, Mr. Adly Hassan Al-Hadi.
