Undersecretary of Shabwa calls on Doctors Without Borders to intensify relief interventions

Fahd bin Al-Dhib Al-Khulaifi, Undersecretary of Shabwa Governorate, on Wednesday, welcomed the head of the Belgian Doctors Without Borders mission in Yemen, Faderica Franco, accompanied by a delegation.

He expressed his aspiration to expand relief interventions in the governorate and raise the ceiling of support to meet the needs of the most needy groups, in light of the difficult circumstances.

In turn, Faderica affirmed her appreciation for the efforts of the local authority, led by Governor Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, and the cooperation and facilities it provides to enable organizations to respond quickly.

She urged the reopening of Ataq Airport for the organization’s flights to save effort on reaching Shabwa Governorate.
