Al-Bahsani calls on the people of the south at home and abroad to defend their cause

Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, said that the issue of the people of the south will remain at the forefront of national work priorities, and will remain in the eyes of the leadership.

During his meeting with leaders of the southern community in the United States of America, Al-Bahsani stressed that the people of the south at home and abroad bear responsibility for their cause, and defend it in various forums at the national and international levels, calling for the cohesion of the people of the south on one opinion, to support their leadership and achieve their aspirations.

Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council pointed to the conditions on the national scene, and the seriousness of the situation resulting from regional and international developments, stressing that the current circumstances require the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, with the participation of the people of the south, to determine work priorities to confront the first enemy of the south and the north, represented by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by Iran.

Major General Al-Bahsani reviewed the American democratic experience, based on the principles of constitutional rule, through the separation of powers and free elections, stressing the need to benefit from the experience, and learn about the culture of the American people and their policies that support human rights, development and peace, and reject extremist ideas and terrorism.

He urged attention to education, as the main pillar in building, advancing and developing societies, stressing the need to improve students’ level of academic achievement, motivating them to continue studying at various levels and scientific specializations, and exploiting available opportunities to develop their capabilities.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Al-Bahsani, had previously met with some leaders of the southern community and major southern merchants, to invite them to invest in their country, to enhance the economic situation and achieve comprehensive renaissance.
