Al-Tilal champion of the second edition of Aden the Capital Cup

Al-Tilal football team won the second edition of Aden the Capital Cup, by defeating Al-Sho’ala with two goals to one in the final match that took place at Al-Hobaishi Martyr Stadium at the conclusion of the tournament organized by Aden Football Association under the auspices of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in Aden the capital.

The match witnessed excitement and great competition from the two teams with a relative advantage at the first half for Al-Sho’ala team, which tried to end the first half with the lead, and indeed this happened when Manaf Saeed scored the first goal for Al-Sho’ala.

Al-Tilal tried to equalize, but the minutes of the first half passed without any change in the score, to end with Al-Sho’ala leading by one.

In the second half, Al-Tilal’s superiority appeared as its attackers posed a threat to Al-Sho’ala’s goalkeeper, in which at the 75th minute, Karim Hamdi equalized for Al-Tilal.
The remaining minutes of the match witnessed great competition from both sides in order to snatch the winning goal, and while the match was heading towards the end, specifically at the minute 88, Al-Tilal obtained a penalty kick after the ball touched the hand of Al-Sho’la’s defender, and Ahmed Maher of Al-Tilal shot it into the net, announcing Al-Tilal team’s lead with the second goal, and the match ended with Al-Tilal winning and being crowned champion of Aden the Capital Cup Championship.
