Governor of Shabwa inaugurates Civil Defense Department with UAE support

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir, inaugurated on Monday, the Civil Defense and Fire Department building, after equipping it for the first time in the history of the governorate.
The opening came with the support of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which included fully financing the project, as part of the security system enhancement project.
The governor was briefed on the project and its components, the design of the building according to the latest standards, and its equipment with the latest devices and equipment specialized in the field of firefighting and rescue.
He expressed his sincere thanks to the United Arab Emirates, its leadership and people, for the generous and continuous support for Shabwa Governorate, stressing that the project crowns a series of development projects implemented with Emirati support.
