Al-Kathiri Lays Wreath at Unknown Soldier’s Tomb in Memorial Square of Martyrs of the South

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, visited on Saturday morning the Memorial Square of the martyrs of the South in the city of At-Tawahi in the capital, Aden, on the glorious occasion of the 57th anniversary of National Independence Day, November 30.
During the visit, Mr. Al-Kathiri, accompanied by other high-ranking officials, like Major General Kamal Hamshari, Acting Secretary-General and Director of the Office of the STC’s President, and Dr. Abdul-Nasser Al-Wali, Minister of Civil Service and Insurance and head of the Ministers’ bloc of the STC in the government, laid a wreath and stood a tribute minute to recite al-Fatiha for the souls of the blessed martyrs of the South, in recognition of their great ultimate sacrifices for the sake of the land and people of the South, praying to Allah, Almighty, to bestow His vast mercy upon them and to abode them in His paradise.
