The Relief and Humanitarian Works Authority of STC holds its regular meeting and discusses relief works developments

The Relief and Humanitarian Works Authority assisting the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its first regular meeting for the month of February on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Anwar Hazam, Vice President of the Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of silence to recite Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of the south, on the fifty-eighth anniversary of the Southern Martyr’s Day, which is on February 11 of each year, stressing the Authority’s commitment to implementing the instructions of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, to take care on the families of the martyrs of the south in appreciation of the sacrifices they made.
The meeting discussed a number of topics related to humanitarian and relief work in the south, and developments in the economic and service situation in the southern arena.
The meeting touched on mechanisms to enhance the Authority’s response to current humanitarian challenges in the south, reiterating the importance of joint coordination with all concerned parties to ensure the achievement of sustainable humanitarian solutions in light of the worsening humanitarian and service situation.
