Lahj Governor Inspects Discipline at Education Office Following Eid al-Fitr Holiday

Major General Ahmed Abdullah Turki, Governor of Lahj Governorate, Chairman of the Local Council, and Commander of the 17th Infantry Brigade, paid an inspection visit to the Education Office in the governorate, marking the first official day of work following the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
He was received by the Director of the Education Office in the governorate, Mr. Fahmi Bajash Hawash Thabet, along with department heads and department directors. The governor exchanged Eid greetings with the office staff, expressing his appreciation for their efforts in serving the educational process.
During the visit, the governor discussed the general educational situation in the governorate, noting the ongoing efforts to establish an Education Support Fund, despite the challenges facing the governorate due to limited resources.
The governor emphasized that the local authorities are making strenuous efforts, in cooperation with relevant authorities, to find sustainable solutions that contribute to improving the quality of education.
Turki emphasized the importance of strengthening joint efforts to overcome current challenges, appreciating the level of professional discipline he observed among the office’s staff, considering it a model to be emulated at this stage.
He also commended the leadership of the Education Department in the Tuban Directorate, represented by Mr. Muqbil Al-Salami, for their efforts in ensuring the stability of the educational process and their commitment to the future of students. He called on other schools to prioritize the interests of their children amid the exceptional circumstances facing the country.
