Socotra Governor Visits Hadiboh Security Department, Praises Level of Security Discipline

The Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqali, today made an inspection visit to the Hadiboh Comprehensive Security Department. He was accompanied by the Director-General of the Governorate Police, Colonel Ali Al-Daksmi, to review the progress of work and the level of discipline and security preparedness in the department.

During the visit, Governor Al-Thaqali listened to a detailed explanation from the Director of Hadiboh Security, Captain Ahmed Issa, about the efforts made to enhance security and stability in the city. He praised the remarkable level of performance and discipline, which has significantly contributed to improving the security situation in the district.

The Governor also held an expanded meeting with a number of security leaders, including the directors of the Traffic Police, Coast Guard, and Port Security. During the meeting, mechanisms for enhancing security work and coordinating joint efforts between various units were discussed, particularly regarding regulating traffic in public places, detecting violations, and enforcing fines. These efforts also include monitoring the entry of ferries into the port and recording the data of arrivals, with the aim of strengthening security measures and limiting any suspicious activity.

At the conclusion of the visit, Governor Al-Thaqali emphasized the need for all security agencies to adhere to their responsibilities and duties in accordance with the law. He emphasized the importance of strictly implementing security measures, which will contribute to maintaining the security and stability of the governorate and enhance citizens’ confidence in the security services.
