The Southern Transitional Council Condemns the Terrorist Attack Targeting Tourists in Kashmir

The Southern Transitional Council condemns in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a group of innocent tourists in Pahalgam area of Kashmir, in the friendly Republic of India, which resulted in dozens of civilian casualties and injuries.
This heinous terrorist act, which targeted the lives of innocent people, reflects the true face of the forces of evil and terrorism, which show no regard for the sanctity of human life and do not differentiate between races, religions, or nationalities. It constitutes a flagrant violation of all human values and international norms.
While the Council expresses its full solidarity with the government and people of the friendly Republic of India in this great tragedy, it offers its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The Southern Transitional Council reiterates its firm and unwavering position in rejecting and condemning all forms of terrorism and extremism, and calls for enhanced international cooperation to confront this dangerous scourge from which our country, like many other countries around the world, has suffered.
