Aden The Capital Security Department announced the activation of hotline numbers for the Morals and Cyber Blackmail Department. This aims to facilitate citizens’ communication with the relevant authorities to resolve their cases related to this increasing type of crime.
Brigadier General Naji Qasim Ahmed Al-Marfadi, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Aden, explained that this step comes within the framework of the department’s commitment to providing direct and rapid communication channels for citizens affected by cyber blackmail crimes. He emphasized that these numbers are available 24/7 to receive their reports and deal with them seriously and quickly.
For his part, the Director of Aden Capital Security, Major General Mutahhar Al-Shuaibi, emphasized the commitment of the Security Command and the Criminal Investigation Department to protecting the honor and dignity of citizens and holding perpetrators of these crimes, which threaten the social fabric, accountable. He stressed that the maximum penalties will be applied to anyone who dares to violate the sanctity and honor of society, noting that violating these values is a red line that cannot be tolerated.
