The General Secretariat of STC Presidency Holds Its Regular Meeting

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting on Monday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Mohammed Al-Shaqi, Assistant Secretary-General for Governorate Affairs and Coordination.
The meeting reviewed the latest preparations being made by the local leadership of the Council in Hadhramaut Governorate for the “Hadhramaut First” event, marking the ninth anniversary of the liberation of the Hadhramaut coast from terrorist organizations. In this context, the General Secretariat called on the people of Hadhramaut to actively participate in the success of this exceptional event, in support of the demands of the people of Hadhramaut and to strengthen the presence of the Hadrami Elite Forces, which have achieved security and stability in the governorate.
The meeting reviewed a report on the latest developments in the conditions of martyrs and wounded on the national scene in the south, and the lofty goals for which they rose. The report addressed the most prominent challenges facing the wounded and the families of martyrs and ways to address them.
The meeting discussed the organizational report on the follow-up of the Council’s local departments and bodies in the southern governorates during the first quarter of 2025. In this context, a number of measures were taken to enhance and develop the Council’s work in the governorates.
The meeting reviewed and approved its previous minutes, taking into account the comments.
