At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed the attendees, reviewing the beginnings of the founding of the Hadramaut Inclusive Conference and the challenges they all faced. He emphasized the need to return to the provisions of the charter for which the conference was established, and to bring all Hadrami components under its umbrella, in order to unify Hadramaut’s voice, develop it, and advance it in all fields.
Bin Brik emphasized the importance of focusing on commemorating the liberation of the coast and calling for the participation of all political and societal trends. He noted that, based on this event, partnerships will be strengthened and bridges of trust will be built for dialogue based on reorganizing the Hadrami house and supporting the Hadrami Elite Forces, which represent Hadramout’s safety valve and its most prominent national achievements in the modern era.
For his part, Al-Kathiri emphasized the importance of recalibrating and developing good intentions, working to correct and reorganize the Hadramout Inclusive Conference as an entity that supports Hadramout at all stages. This is to ensure Hadramout’s cohesion and strength, unify its decisions, strengthen unity and solidarity among its people in particular and the southern governorates in general, and advance service, economic, security, and military aspects.
Bin Brik listened to a range of opinions, ideas, and proposals from the leadership present at the Hadramout Inclusive Conference, aiming to establish a new partnership that includes everyone without exception. He praised the personal and community initiatives to unify the Hadrami spectrum as a whole, solve Hadramout’s problems, meet the demands of its people, and demonstrate a sense of national responsibility to unite to confront the threats facing it.
