The General Authority for Lands suspends all branch operations in the governorates until further notice

The General Authority for Lands, Survey, and Urban Planning issued an official circular on Monday, suspending all branch operations in the Yemeni governorates until further notice, based on directives from the Prime Minister.
The circular, signed by the acting head of the General Authority, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, stated that the suspension decision is based on official directives issued on April 30, 2025, and is intended to ensure the organization of the Authority and its branches until the completion of a comprehensive review and evaluation of performance over the past period.
The Authority emphasized in its circular that the suspension includes all branch operations, and that any violation of this decision will be held fully legally responsible. It called on all branch managers to fully adhere to the contents of the circular until further notice.
The decision comes as part of government efforts to reorganize and regulate institutional performance within state institutions and achieve the principles of transparency and administrative accountability.
