Al-Muharrami Discusses Military Developments and Strengthening Defense Capabilities with Minister of Defense

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdulrahman Al-Muharrami, met on Saturday, in the capital, Aden, with Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, to discuss military developments, in light of the terrorist Houthi militia’s continued targeting of international shipping lanes and its threat to international peace and security.
During the meeting, Al-Mahrami listened to a comprehensive briefing by the Minister of Defense, in which he reviewed military developments on various fronts and the level of readiness of the armed forces. He also highlighted the ministry’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of army personnel and strengthen training and qualification programs through specialized military educational institutions.
The meeting also addressed priorities for the next phase and ways to develop the defense and logistical capabilities of the armed forces to meet field challenges and ensure the efficient and disciplined execution of missions, within the framework of a national vision aimed at unifying field performance and coordination among various military formations. Al-Mahrami was briefed by Minister Al-Da’ari on the efforts of the ministerial committee tasked with coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure the free movement of goods between governorates, including the smooth flow of fuel to the capital, Aden, thus ensuring the improvement of basic services for citizens. At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Mahrami stressed the importance of enhancing operational coordination between the Ministry of Defense and relevant authorities to confront current threats and consolidate national gains achieved thanks to the great sacrifices made by the heroes of the armed forces in various fields and on various fronts.
