The Undersecretary of the Population Sector at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, honored in the capital, Aden, the Deputy Representative of the United Nations Population Fund in our country, Mr. Hisham Nehru, on the occasion of the end of his term in our country and in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population praised the significant role played by Mr. Nehru during his tenure in our country, reviewing his efforts in strengthening health services that contribute to enhancing maternal and newborn reproductive health.
During the farewell ceremony, the Undersecretary welcomed the new Deputy Representative of the United Nations Population Fund, Mr. Mustafa Al-Kanzi from the Republic of Sudan, wishing him success in his new duties in our country.
Dr. Al-Shabhi affirmed that the Ministry of Health, represented by the Population Sector, will continue to provide support to the new representative, as it did with his predecessor, to ensure the provision of distinguished healthcare services that have a positive impact on target groups.
