The Director General of Health in Aden inaugurates a free medical camp for chronic diseases in Khormaksar

The Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in the capital, Aden, Dr. Ahmed Muthanna Al-Bishi, inaugurated on Saturday, the free medical camp for chronic diseases in the Khormaksar Health Complex in Khormaksar District, which is implemented by the Ihsan Foundation for Human Development, with the support and funding of the Abu Hatem Banafa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, in cooperation and partnership with Khamis Company for Medicines and Medical Supplies, and Himam Hadramout Company for Medicines and Medical Supplies, under the auspices of the Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in Aden, Dr. Ahmed Muthanna Al-Bishi, and the Director General of Khormaksar District, Head of the Local Council, Awas Al-Zahouri, and under the supervision of the Public Health and Population Office – Khormaksar.

The free camp will continue for four days, providing services to patients suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, including diagnosis, examinations, tests, and dispensing of free medication to patients.

During the inauguration, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the Population Sector, Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Al-Bishi and Al-Shabhi praised the humanitarian role played by Himam Hadramout Pharmaceuticals, Khamis Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies, and Abu Hatem Banafa Foundation in establishing the free medical camp, which targets a large segment of the district’s residents who suffer from chronic diseases and are unable to afford the cost of treatment, urging those in charge of the camp to organize and arrange humanitarian work and health services provided to patients to alleviate their burdens and suffering.
