Governor of Lahj Praises the Efforts of Security Belt Troops in the Governorate

In phone call with colonel Galal Al-Rubaiy, commander of the security belt troops on Lahj, General Al-Turkey praised the efforts of the security belt troops and congratulated their commander for the security achievements that secured the governorate.
Security belt troops recently arrested 96 Africans who tried to sneak into Lahj in addition to seizing seven hi-lux vehicles carrying smuggled cigarettes. These operations in Iron Factory zone witnessed violent clashes between the security belt troops and smugglers leading the injury of several soldiers in addition to damaging a security set and several injuries among smugglers.
It is noteworthy that security belt troops and public security forces managed to restore security in Lahj and citizens started to feel secure and stable. These successes were achieved under commandership of brigadier Saleh Al-Sayed, commander of public security forces, colonel Galal Al-Rubaiy, and commander of the security belt troops with full support of Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Turkey, governor of Lahj.
